| A trial date was set for a wrongful death lawsuit in federal court against a local TV station in connection with a deadly Fort Hood helicopter crash in November 2004.
Seven soldiers died near Moody when their Blackhawk helicopter crashed into KXXV Channel 25’s tower support wires in heavy fog.
Records show Channel 25 had previously notified the Federal Aviation Administration that a light was out on the tower.
More lawsuits stemming from the crash are expected to follow.
